Festival de Sainte-Mère is unique in south west France because it not only provides first class music but also supports the talents and careers of the young musicians who participate. They have the rare chance of working together in surroundings that inspire concentration and creativity, supported entirely from Festival funding. The results of this collaboration have been twelve years of outstanding music performed at the château together with great benefits for over 50 young musicians in their musical development.
Join the Friends of Festival de Sainte-Mère and ensure that young musicians of talent can continue to benefit. In addition to their magnificent music making you will:
get priority booking for all concerts at Sainte-Mère Festival
receive invitations to occasional music oriented events open only to Friends

“There are just not enough places like Sainte-Mere for young musicians to get to grips with what their intense collegiate study has offered them. The peaceful environment is ideal, and the encouragement given by the enthusiastic and committed director, quite special. I’ve worked with string players in London who have experienced this precious time in Gascony, and who have said just how grateful they were for the wonderful opportunity.”
- Graham Allum, Director of St Lawrence Music Festival, London
If you pay tax in France 66% of your donation can be reclaimed on your tax return.
“All members and supporters receive my gratitude and appreciation and in future years will take pleasure I hope, in seeing what an exciting project has developed thanks to their enthusiasm and generosity of spirit.”
- Piers Killeen
